Good News Club

Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.

The Good News Club meets after school on Tuesdays for first through sixth graders at Southwestern Elementary school.

Students who wish to attend must have their parents sign the permission slip that is sent home with the school announcements.  Additional permission slips are available through the school office.

The Good News Club is operated by Christians from several churches in the Southwestern school district.  Adults who would like to help with the Good News Club can contact Cindy Baute.

Spartan Cupboard.

The Spartan Cupboard is a pantry located at Southwestern Jr. and Sr. High School.  We have partnered with Gleaners to address the hunger issues with students, their families and our community.  Our pantry is open on the first and third Wednesday of each month.  The pantry is also available to students throughout the school day.

Hilltop Christian Camp

The primary purpose and focus of Hilltop Christian Camp is to provide a secluded and unique setting where every young person or adult can have a great time while encountering the presence of the Living God through play, Bible study, fellowship, and worship.

Hilltop Christian Camp was established in 1946 by the East Columbus Christian Church of Columbus, Indiana.  The land, in beautiful Brown County upon which Hilltop is located, was donated to the church by Walker & Freeman Ping for the sole purpose of establishing a Christian service camp for the area's young people.  In addition to having a place for Christian fun and recreation, the camp would be a place to learn more about Christ and to be challenged to serve Him in various Christian vocations.

Now owned and operated by a corporation of Christian Church/Churches of Christ in the South Central Indiana area, that heritage is being carried on through the motto, “Where Christ and a great time go together.”

The Mt. Auburn Christian Church supports Hilltop Camp directly, as well as providing scholarships for students who desire to attend.  We provide a 50% scholarship for all students in our church who attend Hilltop.  We have additional scholarships for students who need it.  We do not want anyone to miss out because of finances.  Speak with the pastor or one of the elders if you need an additional scholarship.

Pioneer Bible Translators

Pioneer Bible Translators bridge the gap between the church and the Bibleless peoples around the world.  Our team is composed of Bible translators, literacy evangelists, church planters and a variety of support personnel working to see transformed lives through God’s Word in every language.  We are serving 38 million people in 73 language projects in 17 countries.  God is calling us to expand.  With His help we will strive to start 11 new projects by the end of 2019.  We are seeking new missionaries who will step up and meet the need for incarnational ministry among Bibleless peoples.  Pioneer Bible Translators currently sends missionaries from Canada and the United States.  Our international Service Center, located in Dallas, TX, is crucial in attaining our global ministry goals.  From here, missionaries train and prepare for cross-cultural ministry.  Our mission: Pioneer Bible Translators exists to disciples the Bibleless, mobilizing God’s people to provide enduring access to God’s Word.

Our vision: Transformed lives through God’s Word in every language.

Hearing and Receiving Christ,

Mark and Helen Begarly

HRC is a Christ-centered ministry that strives to give empowerment and ownership to the people of Zimbabwe so they may develop vision and create ministries that spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

For each ministry to reach its true potential, Nationals are trained and given ownership of the ministries, as we believe Nationals are better equipped to reach their own people than foreigners.  God can then give them vision for their country.

We believe the Bible is inspired by the words of God.

We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayers, and that He saves from sin and death all who comes to Him through Jesus Christ.

We confess Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of the living God, as our Lord and Savior.

We are obedient to His command to be baptized for the forgiveness of sin and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We believe all of this because Jesus’ resurrection from the dead and ascension into heaven trust in His promise to in live eternal glory with God
